Lincoln Prairie Grass Trail
UBI Butterfly Hotspot
The Lincoln Prairie Grass Trail is a converted railroad bed linking Charleston and Mattoon, IL that now provides a beautiful hiking and biking path. UBI Butterfly Hotspots are being established along the sides of this trail as well as at particular parking trailheads. Trailhead hotspots are listed separately. Planting for the Lincoln Prairie Grass Trail started Fall 2019.
